The Once and Future Skills
I learned to drive a car, I learned to juggle, and I learned to swallow pills; I WILL LEARN to put these stupid contact lenses in my eyes.<br/>
In other news, God’s creation has once again beat out human ingenuity.

CONTACT LENSES!!!!!!!? since WHEN?!

Aww, Dan.
When I first got contacts, I thought I’d lose my mind trying to get the things in. I found that if I held my eye (both top and bottom) open with the thumb and index finger of one hand and used the index finger of the other hand to put it in, it was much easier. Some people can just pop them in. I think they’re abnormal.
It’s also best if you look straight ahead. Then when it’s in, close your eye and pat it to get rid of air bubbles. (Don’t laugh.) Then wiggle your eye around and then open. If it doesn’t pop out, you’re good to go!
Also, don’t put them in inside out. It’s quite painful, even with soft lenses. Ouchie!
Good luck.
