My Ideal Girl: Quality #94

I ate dinner at Juice & Java tonight: a Mediterranean Wrap and hot chocolate. After I finished eating, I settled down on the couch to read. As I read, I could vaguely hear the conversation between the two girls who had been in line ahead of me. They appeared to be about 18 or 19 years old, and had settled at one of our PA.net hotspot computers. I mightn’t have noticed what they were saying, but a few words caught my ear: ‘sin’, ‘Jesus’, things like that. The girl in the leather jacket was discipling her friend, and spoke easily, knowledgeably and comfortably about the Truth.

I resisted the urge to interrupt and say, “Hi! I’m a Christian, too!”. Instead, I added an item to the characteristics of my ideal girl: It’d be really, really cool if she was able to share her faith and teach younger Christians just like that girl was. Someday I’ll post the entire list here for you to compare yourself to and email me if you match up (just kidding).

No, I didn’t get her phone number. Be quiet.

Didn’t get her phone number? What’s wrong with you Daniel? No, just kidding. I haven’t touched base with you in a long time. How are you?

He lives! :) It’s good to see you blogging again, Daniel. And you SHOULD have at least smiled at her and introduced yourself. Aww @ you.
