Girls' Lock-In
Tonight the praise band and I are supposed to provide live music for the Girls’ Lock-In here at church. Apparently they do this for the kids moving into the youth group so as to get to know the older ones. The children’s minister herself asked me, so I guess it’s okay … but still weird. Ms. Vickie said we could play Christian or secular stuff, but to probably keep it instrumental if it’s not Christian. 
Fortunately the other members of the praise band are guys too, so I won’t be the only one feeling out-of-place.
