This blogging stuff is way too much fun. I'll have to add one to my site. But, for now, I have to keep my site more academic and career oriented...at least until I get my Master's degree in December. My site is one of the final requirements. Anyway, after that, I might be asking you for some help setting up my blog. I don't quite have the design and programming skills that you have, but it's fun trying. Who knows, I might be blogging at 4 am like you if I keep this up :-)

No, no ... don't withdraw your comment. I wasn't complaining about your post, I was apologizing for dragging the subject on. No worries ... all advice is welcome. :)

But I don't think it hurts to keep an eye out, either. ;)

"A word aptly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver." That was my first thought when I read your comment. Of course, then I had to look it up to quote it properly :-) You speak with wisdom, Daniel. Somehow I feel the need to withdraw my original comment. I don't really perceive you as having a lonely heart week and shouldn't have taken your words out of context. Your focus is exactly where it should be...allowing God to help you become the man that He wants you to be. If men twice your age had half your wisdom, the world would be a better place.

The doorstep thing sounds nice. :)

But I've been operating thus far on the assumption that if I concentrate on doing the Lord's work, he'll introduce us to each other when it's time. I have a friend who is constantly 'out there looking', to the point of nauseum. To me, that makes it hard to tell the difference between one's own efforts and the effects of letting the Lord do His guidance thing.

Now, I may not have been exactly holding up my end of bargain satisfactorily, as I'm learning during our revival services here at church (which I will blog about shortly). So the jury's still out on that one. But we're getting there.

I didn't actually plan to have a 'lonely heart' week on my site here. That's what my other, anonymous blog is for. (IF it indeed exists. I'm not telling.) It could be a side-effect of blogging after 4am.

So, Daniel, are you just waiting for her to show up on your doorstep or are you out there looking for her? Just kidding. Perhaps she'll be at that concert on November 4th. Perhaps you've seen her at the store or in the neighborhood. Wherever she is or whoever she is, just make sure you introduce yourself. The worst thing that could happen is that you make a new friend. Keep that up and you'll be surrounded by lots of beautiful women. Good luck.
