Google: Remove Result/Sitemaps Benefits
Whilst investigating Google’s Click-to-Call feature on the Achive-IT! blog, I happened upon these bits of Google coolness that I’ve not yet seen covered anywhere: “Remove result” and some manner of site link grouping. Witness the screenshot below:
Not only do search results give you the option to remove pesky results from this and any future searches, but they allow you to jump directly to useful links within a site. Is this the realization of the until-now-misunderstood Google Sitemaps? I’m guessing Pizza Hut used Sitemaps to specify what those links should be.
